The Importance of Good Character

Psalms 14-16 are about character and relationships with God. None of us meet God's standard; we are all guilty and we all do our own thing. God's standard is perfect moral purity which is accompanied by fellowship with Him. People who seek after this have hope of life beyond the grave, while those who seek after other things have more trouble than they can live with.

Only through Jesus Christ can we hope to acheive God's standard of righteousness. When the veil of the Most Holy Place tore from top to bottom on the day He was crucified, fellowship with God was re-enabled once more. Let us take advantage of this and give thanks to God every day.
