Thinking Outside the Box

Job 32-37 is a set of speeches by a younger man named Elihu, who has kept silent, listening to Job and his friends until now. Elihu then declares to Job that God does not owe Job an explanation for what He does, that Job lives by God's mercy, and that ultimately Job's suffering is for his ultimate benefit.

This is what God's sovreignty is about: God is in absolute control of all things. It is not easy to understand at times, and we do not always see what He is doing, but He has not left us, and will finish what He has started.
