Rebuilding the Wall

Nehemiah 1-6 is about the rebuilding of Jerusalem's walls, a prospect which the surrounding nations hated. Nehemiah comes to Judah from Susa with the blessing of the king and encourages his people to rebuild in the midst of opposition. As a result of Nehemiah's faithfulness and the faithfulness of the people, the wall is rebuilt in less than two months.

Serving God is never easy, and it is very frustrating at times. Keeping our eyes on the prize God has for us helps us to see past all the hard times and do His will.
