The Return

Ezra 1-6 describes the return of the Jews to their homeland from Babylon. Cyrus commissions the rebuilding of the temple and the people eventually complete it amidst opposition from the surrounding peoples.

God preserves people to worship Him. It is one of the purposes for which we are created. Let us continue to remember God and His faithfulness, and worship Him all our days.
