"What's in a name?..."

Genesis 15-17 deals a lot with names. Abram is renamed Abraham, the name we know him by best, and Sarai is renamed Sarah. In addition, Abraham's sons are given names before they are born.  New names signify being part of a new family, and Abraham and Sarah as well as Abraham's sons are blessed by God.  God sees us for who we truly are and what we will truly be.  It's always good to remember that.
