A New Place for Worship

1 Chronicles 13-17 recounts David bringing the ark of the covenant from Kirjath Jearim to Jerusalem, David's psalm of praise and thanksgiving, and his desire to build the temple. It also mentions in brief his battles with the Philistines, and how God caused the surrounding nations to fear David.

God wants people who love to worship Him, and He will support them according to His sovreign will. It is God who made us and it is God who will finish His work with us. Thus, it is God who should have our worship and adoration.
