Picture Perfect

Leviticus 21-22 is about the requirements for serving as priests and for giving offerings. Both must be in excellent health and without defects of any kind. Such was a picture of the holiness of God, who is perfect in every way.

Christ as our High Priest, and as the offering for our sins, fulfills this in a way that none of us could.  Through His ministry and sacrifice He shows that He is the perfection that the priests and the offerings pointed to.
