Best Behavior

Leviticus 18-20 describes regulations for how the people were to live in general. While the preceding chapters in Leviticus had a lot of symbolism attached, these chapters were mainly practical, and would appear to most readers as common sense, except for the attachment of the death penalty to many of these behaviors.

However, these chapters continue the theme of holiness, which should describe the whole covenant community.  We should similarly aspire to lead holy lives every day and bring glory to God in all that we do.
