Blueprint

In Exodus 24-31 Moses is given precise instructions on how the tabernacle, the picture of God's holiness on earth, is to be built. The tabernacle itself, the ark of the covenant, the lampstand, the showbread table, the altars of incense and burnt offering, the bronze laver, and even the priests' clothing are given detailed specifications and were made of the most expensive materials.

Such indeed is God's character.  He is holy and deserves all of us.  We should strive to give God our best every day.
