Overruled

Daniel 1-6 is about interactions between earthly kings and the God of heaven. God delivers His servants from earthly rulers who have misguided agendas and imperfect vision, and enlightens those rulers to understand that God is the one whose laws stand above all others. The kings of the nations learn what Daniel and his friends already know: their God must be obeyed.

God is sovreign, and He does whatever He wants; fortunately, God is a God of grace who shows mercy to people so that they may come to know Him. Let us praise Him for His goodness, love, and mercy every day!
