In Due Season

Ecclesiastes 7-12 expands on the well known passage in chapter 3 about doing things in their proper time and place. We cannot be in control of all things, but we can respond to circumstances wisely and enjoy what we have at proper times.

The time for seeking God is now. The book of Ecclesiastes encourages us to remember God before we grow old, but we do not know how much time we have on earth. God reminds us that as there is a season for planting and a season for harvest, so there is also a season for knowing God, and we are in that season now.

Love Awakened

The Song of Solomon is a love story about a man who falls in love with a woman who works in the vineyards, and the woman's similar response to him. Having known each other for some time, the man and the woman make plans to fulfill the relationship in marriage.

Like the man and the woman in the song, we who believe in Jesus await the day when we will spend eternity with Him in a relationship beyond our wildest dreams. One day God will reveal to us our true love, and we will rejoice forever.
