Worth Remembering

Proverbs 10-15 is a collection of short wise sayings about people who choose different roads in life, with the consequences described in each saying. In particular, wisdom is contrasted with folly, and righteousness with wickedness, and wisdom and righteousness are connected to one another, as are their opposites (folly and wickedness) connected to each other. These sayings being repeated over and over paint a clear picture of who takes these different paths and what happens to them.

It is worth remembering that righteousness and wisdom are connected to God and life, while folly and wickedness are connected with death. In making these connections the writer wishes us to know the path that leads to God.
