The Company We Keep

Proverbs 1-9 discusses advice from many sources, including one's parents, one's friends, and God Himself. God's wisdom is to be heard more than the untested and/or wicked advice of those around us, whose knowledge and moral compass leave much to be desired.

The Bible is God's wisdom in written form, at least the part of God's wisdom which He has especially revealed to us. We should listen to what it teaches and learn from it so that we will be what God wants us to be.
