Dark Hour

Psalms 88-89 are psalms written in deep distress. Psalm 88 is about the psalmist's troubles from beginning to end, and though Psalm 89 has much praise, it ends in mourning. God loves us and understands our suffering, because He took on flesh and bone, and He desires that we draw near to Him when we are troubled. May He be praised forever!
