About Hysterical Nomad Productions
What is Hysterical Nomad about?
Hysterical Nomad was started by three young, female otaku who wanted to document their adventures and misadventures at Texas Anime conventions where they waste all their entire year's income. They film cosplay, guests, voice actors, panels, concerts, dealer's rooms, and random fans who run up and go insane just for the camera.
Why the name Hysterical Nomad?
The name "Hysterical Nomad" was created by the founder, Parvana, while wandering around her station at SlaveWorld (Parvana's work). The crew travels to many different conventions in Texas like nomads. Nomads were people who (By Webster's defintion. Good, old Webster!) were members of a people who have no fixed residence but move from place to place usually seasonally and within a well-defined territory or, by the second definition, who travel aimlessly. So, the crew lives an almost nomadic lifestyle. The adjective, hysterical, refers to the crazy fandom the crew brings to each convention. Put it all together and what do you got? Three almost mentally challenged girls who have nothing better to do with their lives but to go and film conventions.
