What is Demon Attack?

Demon Attack is a 'clone' of a game released for the Atari 2600 gaming console by iMagic.

What was the original game like?

In the game, you control a ground based turret that is similar to the famous turret in Space Invaders. You are attacked by waves of demons who attempt to destroy you by dropping bombs or shooting lasers. Each wave consists of 8 demons. As you progress, they move faster and use new tricks, such as dividing in two when fired upon, dive bombing, and pulsing.

What's the clone like?

The clone stays true to the original by pitting your ship against three demons at a time. The wave counter goes up every time you slay eight demons, but the waves aren't divided up, and the demons don't progress.

What's upcoming?

I'm working on making the waves divided up, so if you shoot six, only two will be on screen, and shooting seven will mean only 1 demon will be onscreen. I'm also going to add animation to the demons. Finally, currently they are all random, but I'm going to make the bottom demon (who drops bombs) seek the player.
