Try to make yourself comfortable. Maybe stretch your legs first or just move around so you can relax a little before we begin. I would like you to just find a comfortable position and try to get rid of anything distracting. To feel this experience, I need you to become relaxed. Now I want you to begin to read. Just read the words and let them flow into you. There is nothing else to do except to read my words and to go into trance. As you read your mind will focus on my words. You'll find yourself calming as you read each word.

 

We will begin by focusing on your breathing. It might seem strange to start here, but breathing is the key to relaxation. Take a breath and hold it slightly. For each breath, try to hold it a bit longer and then release it. Take another breath and hold it again slightly, and then release. Notice how relaxing it is to let your breath out. With each exhalation, your body seems to relax more. Your muscles begin to relax. You begin to let go and prepare yourself for a deep relaxing trance.

 

As you learn to focus on your breathing, it becomes easier and easier to let go and to relax. It's normal to relax more and more as you focus on your breathing. My words will help guide you in learning to relax. Each breath you take you find yourself holding briefly, then letting out. Breathing in and then releasing as your body relaxes. You feel the muscles in your chest relax, as you slowly breathe in and let it out slowly. You feel your mind and body letting go as a soft sigh escapes your lips. Letting go so easily. Letting your mind clear. Letting the stress leave your body. Your muscles relax, as the tension escapes.

 

The feeling of relaxing seems to be moving throughout your body. Just as before, you feel the tension leaving your toes and draining the nervous tension from your body. Your toes relax. The pleasure of the relaxation slowly moves to your feet, removing the tension of the day. The muscles in you feel relaxed and heavy. The feeling of release continues to grow and grow, spreading through your body. You feel the warmth increase as the sensation slowly moves up your legs, letting the muscles feel loose and relaxed.

 

The feeling of peace and release continues to envelope your body, as the stressful energy drains from you. The warmth and peace you feel growing in your body continues to swell. Your body relaxes more as you feel my words leading you into a feeling of calmness. The more you let go the more the feelings grow. The more you feel the tranquility of letting go. The more you feel the warmth my words bring you.

 

You feel the warmth tiptoe up your body, relaxing and loosening each and every muscle as it continues to grow upwards. Your legs are drained of all of their energy and stress. The warm tingle continues its way to your thighs, seeping deep into your skin and muscles. Your breathing deepening more and more as you relax and submit. All thoughts dripping away from your mind and all tension dripping from your body into the abyss.

 

The more you relax the more you let go of your mind. The more you relax the more your mind absorbs my words. Your mind focuses on each and every word, as your mind seems to let go of the world around you. The warmth continues to envelop your body. The more you relax, the more powerful my words become. Your mind is open, and my words are becoming your thoughts. You have relaxed because of my words. You have let go of your stress because of my words. Your body has let go because of my words. My words are your thoughts. My words bring you relaxation. You are relaxed. You are at peace. You are fulfilled.

 

Warmth is now sliding to your lower back, sliding to your middle back and finally to your upper back as you sink deeper and deeper in my control. You feel the warmth, and welcome it. You have no fear about giving yourself to my words. Your mind can let go, and you continue to read the words. Your conscious mind is relaxed and drifts more and more. Your subconscious mind continues to read. Your subconscious mind needs to read because your body needs to go deeper. You feel a need to let you. You body wants to let go; your mind wants to feel the pleasure of the warmth. The warmth draws you deeper and deeper. The energy and stress is pulled from your very muscles. Your muscles have needed this, your mind has needed this, and your soul has needed this.

 

Letting go and letting the relaxation overtake you is all that matters. The hunger for my words draws you deeper and deeper into relaxation. You want this more than anything. You need to let go. The liberation to just let go and relax. Your body falls deeper and deeper into serenity. Your mind fills with happiness and tranquility. Deeper and deeper until you are set free. You let yourself go because you want this. You need the control my words give you. 

 

Now I am going to relax you and take you even deeper. You feel so relaxed, but I am going to help you to go deeper still. I want you to imagine that you are at the top of a staircase. There are 10 steps. In a moment I am going to help you down the steps. Each step will relax you more, will let your conscious mind relax and open up more and more to my words. Each step will relax you and put you deeper and deeper into trance.

 

You start down the stairs, your body already relaxing with the first step.

So very relaxed. At this point I am going to help guide you. I have relaxed your body completely. I have relaxed your mind. I have relaxed your mind. I have helped to take you deeper than ever before. You will find that my words are guiding you, changing you, helping you to transform your life.

 

I want your mind to focus on my words as you read my words. We are changing your body and mind to be a more successful person. You?re finding that the stress and trials of your day no longer matter. You?re a strong person, more calm, more relaxed; able to deal with all of the troubles that you face. You are a mentally relaxed person that can handle any situation. You?re the person that people come to for help, because they know that you can handle this situation. People have confidence in you and you have confidence in your abilities. When people think of you, they think of the new you. They think of a loving caring person who can deal with any situation with strength and dignity.

 

They see you just as you see yourself, self confident, good self-image, ambitions, active, healthy, loving, happy, and strong. You are that person and people know this. You know this. You?re confident in your abilities and your life. Your have all of the traits people admire.

 

You have become a changed person with an outlook on life that is positive and upbeat. You are here on this earth to make a difference. You're a leader and your confidence shows this. You know one of your missions in life is to make a difference and you have the strength of character, the strength of will to do this. You're in control of your stress, in control of your destiny. You have the ability to tap this confidence and your knowledge to see things in a new and wonderful manner. You?re a changed person; a positive person and you know you make a difference in people?s lives.

 

My thoughts are your thoughts. Your new thoughts are these:

 

?I have eliminated all self-defeating thoughts. I am in control. I know that I have the strength to do anything. I will never tell myself that there is something I cannot do. I must be truthful to myself, but never tell myself I am not good enough, I am not smart enough, nor talented enough or that there is some goal I cannot accomplish. If I believe it is realistic I can accomplish it. I will remember to write my desires, my goals down and then refer to them often so can allow my subconscious to learn exactly what I want.

I have created a whole new positive me. I am a person who loves life, who feels good, who is mentally and emotionally on an up beat. I refuse to be negative, discouraged or depressed. I know that there are things in my life than need to change, but that I have the strength to change them. Over time, hour-by-hour, day-by-day, I am creating a whole new person who has all the traits I want them to have. Few people in life realize that the creation process never stops. I will not be the same tomorrow as I am today. I will not be the same today as I was yesterday. Nowhere is it written that I cannot change. I can change anything.?

These thoughts are your new thoughts. Your mind, body and life are changed. You have opened a window into yourself and see the possibilities. Any time you need to be reminded of these changes, you know that you can read my words and that your mind will be reminded of these changes. You're a strong positive person and the world is full of possibilities. They are out there for you to grab, and you have the power to make a difference.

 

In a few moments, I will awaken you. I will awaken you by counting forwards from one to ten. And on the count of ten, your eyes will open, you will be wide awake and fully alert but rested, relaxed, and feeling good within yourself, feeling good about yourself.
