Death of a Moth

A) From this essay, Virginia Woolf claims that everyone should live their lives meaningfully and to the fullest. She emphasizes this by using moth as an example. The moth flies side to side of the window pane, doing all it can do before its death. She further tells us that if every human beings try its best at everything, the world would end up as a much better place.

B) Virginia Woolf wrote this essay to prove that life is worth living and that we should try our best at everything. Her purpose in writing this was to convince the readers to do all that he or whe can while one is alive, or else it will be too late.

C) It seems as if the humans' attitude towards life hasn't changed much. Even though this was written 60 years ago, people have not yet realized that subtle change in our attitudes can drastically alter the world. The fact remains true and unaltered even to this day.
