this very drug of mine
is indeed one of the very fine
'tis a very wonderful drug of mine
that'll take you to places like cloud nine

'cause it flaps away your loathed drear
and flies right by what you can't bear
some call the drug a peaceful dove...
i know in my heart that it is love

but one thing my heart didn't realize...
even the very wonders can betry and traumatize
for you have left my heart deserted and bare
with a deep wound that'll forever be there.
