It has been reported recently that Amazon is offering e-book devices that does not require computer. The company has put in painstaking 3 years of development in order to create this device. Thanks to this device people can now download books and read it anywhere, anytime- big deal! It is also said that this device is worth the $399 with fascinating features. I think not.
The device reflects light so that our vulnerable eyes can see with more ease- the device is only 10.3 ounces so that our fragile hands might carry it. However, is this enough to change the whole course of books- books on paper. I believe that books that we have right now stands firm and does not need an alternative. Reading off from electromical pages is not enough to catch the thought of the author. How mind-blowing the device might be, it would never enough which is why I believe this device is not worth the $399.
