Marlene Wallace is the adopted daughter of Barret Wallace. Most only knew her as a polygonal NPC in the first game, however I knew she would play an important role somehow. It is said that she will be playing an important role in the upcoming sequel movie, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Many media images and movies of her were released at E3 conventions in recent years. Her role is to be a friend of Denzel, a boy who is plagued with the dreaded disease Geostigma. One image shows Marlene kneeling at his bedside. Since it hasn't yet been released, not much is known about her specific role. Curiously, she was one of the first characters confirmed to play a role in Advent Children. Much more shall be added after her characterization is opened to the public.
