| Link (?) What do we know about him? Not much, except that he's the hero. Well, the hero of the story, at least; he's not so nice in THIS particular fic, and he destroys more than he saves. As for his plight? Well, you can say he doesn't really know who he is, and the fic is centred around him trying to figure that out. |
| Zelda (German, grey warrior) She doesn't show her face much, but she is the source of Link's discontent throughout the fic. We don't know what happened to her after the prologue of the story. She is assumed to be dead, but as we know, assumptions can make an ass out of a person, and that's what we'll be if we assume TOO much. |
| Liadan (Irish, grey lady) Throughout the story, she serves as Link's mother-figure, since she is the one who takes care of him after his resurrection. She's also the one behind his resurrection, and she's a bit of a necromancer. People think she's a bad person, but as Link knows, she is sweet and loving. Upon her death, Link is taken in by a mysterious man she knew, but would not speak of. |
| Jamari (French, warrior) A young girl of the Ragnhild tribe. She first meets Link when he burns down her village, and afterwards, being the only survivor, vows to kill him no matter what the cost. Spurned by a thirst for vengeance, she spends tean years hunting him down until... |
| Laoghaire (Irish, shepherd) Captain of the Hyrule Army after Link's demise. Upon hearing a rumour that Link indeed still lives, he sets out to find him, hoping to bring him back for service in the army, and to heal Zelda's broken heart. However, he does not know of Link's brutal behaviour, and the hate harboured for him outside of Hyrule's borders. |

| Nabelung (African, beautiful one) Owner of The Immortal, a tavern that Link frequents when he's feeling particularly bummed after a day of hard... er... burning and murdering and such. Her shoulder is always there for him to cry on, if he ever needs to cry that is, which is a rarity, and she cares for him more than she lets on. But can she turn him to the side of good? No, she's not African. |

| Luther (Old German, warrior) Nabelung's father. Completely distrusts Link, but it isn't as if people should trust HIM, either. Pretends to be worried about Nabelung, but is quite abusive behind closed doors. |
