| It reads: Dear Mom and Dad, I had fun today and things are going good. I miss you both and see you soon. Love Kay One more week and then I�d be back in mom�s arms. The next week went by pretty fast. My activities then were a little different. Because I wanted a variety, I choose OLS, Basketball, Karate, Writing, Canoe, and I tried to get water ski again, but it was full, so I took diving instead. Then for my 'C� activity I was able to get water ski. I had fun the first week and for Afternoon activity, we had Alien invasion and cabin after noon and for the evening activity, we had the 80s dance, twilight swim and Capture the Flag. Capture the flag is so much fun. The Saturday came and we said out good- byes. I was back on the bus and on the plane back home. It took a long time to get home. I got off the plane and saw mom and dad and hugged them both really hard. And I went home and slept. * * * * He came off the plane with open arms and gave me the biggest hug. He looks so happy and that�s a great thing to see from a child after he gets back from a place you sent him, which you know nothing about. He told us how much fun he had and that he would love to go back for a longer period of time. I was so glad to hear that. I guess we made the right choice about this camp and he can go as long as he wants. As I put him into bed I watch from his door and see how peaceful he looks. I just stand there for about 15 minutes and wonder hat went on there that was so fun for him. I can just imagine. Thinking back to my days as a camper, I know how much fun I had, maybe that�s exactly how much fun he had. I went to bed,read my book and fell asleep. |
