| Belen was a female transient orca who was captured off of argentina on 01-06-1988 she was belived to have had a forced stranding. after milagro died she was paired with shamenk or kshamenk and the "father of kshemenk"in sptember of 92 who to were belived to have had a forced strandings also. the next day kshamenk's "father" died. she lived in captivity for 12 years. she died in 2000 on feb 4th.. she died during her 2nd peregnancy which the first was a still birth. shamenk still lives alone. |
