| ahad was one of two orcas who were used by the navy in hawaii for retreving decoy torpedos on the ocean floor. his comrad, ishmel got away and never came back. he was part of the J or L pod.off of the washington coast. there he was captured in october, 1968. he died in 1974. he lived in captivity after 5 and 1/2 years. |
