I finished my University education in 1992 and then went into the Army under the Turkish conscription National Service program.
After my Army
service I worked in a range of jobs including part time commercial diving (without
any commercial diving ticket), marketing and sales until 1998 when I decided to
take up diving as a full time career.

Organizing all the diving equipment,
stock checks, student scheduling and diving customers on a day to day basis
with the dive boats.
Promoted to Diving Operations Manager in 2000 responsible for 60+ staff and 3 Dive Boats. As a big, busy centre we handled over 20,000 diving customers each year. Responsibilities included daily planning for staff, boats and equipment, recruitment, training and logistics.
