ABSTRACT
This work comes within the scope of a training plan from the Bureau of Geological and Mining Research (BGMR) in Orléans, entitled "Surface water pollution". The BGMR gives vocational trainings to french professionals. Considering the growing request of information about this type of pollution, this report consists of a bibliographic synthesize of 74 documents relating to few points.
Four themes have been chosen, focused on the pollutions which are injurious to human health and to environmental ecosystems, and which are able to happen in France. Transport processes, pollution behaviours and solutions of treatment have been also tackled.
So nine aids of course have been done, with the software PowerPoint, on the themes of metals, pesticides, nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) and on the mechanisms which link rivers and alluvial sheets.
