The harsh, cold winter air bites at Anthoni's neck, as he and Jeff trudge out into the deserted parking lot, at the back of the arena where Revenge had just taken place. They slowly walk side by side towards Jeff's car, with grim expressions on their faces. This was supposed to have been a joyous night; with Anthoni having defeated Kronik to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, yet the victory over the monstrous adversary was vastly overshadowed by the tragic death of Anthoni's son, Charles. As they approached the rear of the vehicle, Jeff popped the trunk open with a press of a button on his key chain, a solitary sound from the horn breaking the silence, and indicating that the trunk was now open. Anthoni quickly tossed his bag into the trunk, and slammed it shut, and then looked up at his brother.

[+]Anthoni[+] I did just what I said I was going to do. Tonight, I beat that bastard Kronik, and I am still the World Heavyweight Champion. However, the taste of victory is bittersweet, more so bitter than sweet. What am I supposed to do now?

[+]Jeff[+] Just get in the car for now, we'll talk about it on the way to the airport.

[+]Anthoni[+] Yeah...yeah...

The anguish and pain was evident as he spoke those words, his lips trembling as they rolled off his tongue. He opened the passenger side door, and got in, pulling the door shut as Jeff got in on the driver's side. Jeff started the car, and begins their journey out of the parking lot.

[+]Jeff[+] I can't even begin to imagine what you must be feeling, bro.

[+]Anthoni[+] No one can. I lost my fiance and son in one fell swoop, and no doubt it was my fault.

[+]Jeff[+] Don't blame yourself, Anthoni, you had nothing to do with it...

[+]Anthoni[+] Oh, but I did, Jeff. If I had only left Charles in the care of a more capable babysitter, Kronik would never have gotten him. Kylie went to get some...medication for me from a couple of...street pharmacists...and they left her for dead at the hands of the police. If I had gone out instead of her, she would still be alive.

[+]Jeff[+] Even still...

[+]Anthoni[+] Even still my ass, Jeff. The fact of the matter is that they are dead because of me, and there is nothing I can do to rectify the situation.

For the next thirty or so minutes, the brothers Young ride in complete silence. Anthoni turns his face away from his brother, and stares blankly out the window as other cars pass them by with ease. Jeff turns on the radio, and right at that moment, "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace begins to play. Anthoni leans his seat back, and lays his head on the headrest, taking in the lyrics of the song, and then drifting off to sleep. Meanwhile, Jeff dials a number on his cell phone, and after a few rings, a female voice answers.

[+]Female[+] Hello?

[+]Jeff[+] Hey Chloe...

[+]Chloe[+] What's the matter, Jeff?

[+]Jeff[+] It's Anthoni...he needs to see you as soon as possible.

Chloe could sense the urgency in Jeff's voice, and could tell that was something was wrong.

[+]Chloe[+] Why, Jeff, what's the matter?

[+]Jeff[+] He is hurting, so badly, and...I think he's back on drugs again...

[+]Chloe[+] You don't have to say another word. Where are you guys headed?

[+]Jeff[+] We're on our way to the airport. We'll be flying in to New York tonight. I've got a nice townhouse in Brooklyn.

[+]Chloe[+] Alright, well, as soon as I get off the phone with you, I'll pack my clothes and head to the airport. I'll give you a call as soon as my flight lands.

[+]Jeff[+] That works...and listen...Anthoni doesn't know about this, so needless to say it may startle him a bit to see you after all this time.

[+]Chloe[+] Yeah...the last time I saw him...things ended kind of badly, so...yeah...

[+]Jeff[+] Yeah, he told me about that. All I know is that seeing you will do him a lot of good, especially since he is going through hell right now.

[+]Chloe[+] Well, I'll call you when before I get on the plane, and again when I land, so you can come get me.

[+]Jeff[+] Okay, be careful. See you soon.

Jeff hangs up the phone, just as Anthoni begins to awaken.

[+]Anthoni[+] Who was that you were talking to?

[+]Jeff[+] Just an old friend. You up for a drink, maybe something to eat?

[+]Anthoni[+] Sounds good to me, bro, I'm starving. Let's hit up that Subway over there.

Jeff nods in agreement, and then turns his right turn signal on, and takes the exit from the interstate. Moments later, they pull into the parking lot, which has only a few cars in it, and parks near the entrance. The two walk into the small establishment, and immediately, heads turn in their direction. A couple of teenage fans walk up to Anthoni, asking for autographs, which he obliges. After taking pictures with a few of the fans, he and Jeff each order a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub, and get large sodas, and sit down in a corner booth.

[+]Anthoni[+] So...this old friend of yours...I wouldn't happen to know them, would I?

[+]Jeff[+] I don't know, I suppose it's a possibility. You'll get to meet her soon, though.

[+]Anthoni[+] Really? Why do you say that?

[+]Jeff[+] She's going to be staying with us at my townhouse.

[+]Anthoni[+] Nice...for how long?

[+]Jeff[+]Not exactly sure. It depends on how she likes partying with us.

With that said, Anthoni smiled for the first time all night. Anthoni took a big bite of his sandwich, much too big perhaps, as it sprayed vinaigrette sauce all over Jeff's leather jacket. Jeff looks down at his jacket, and then back up at Anthoni, and both break out into hysterical laughter, before finishing their sandwiches. Jeff tosses his empty drink into the trash on the way out, while Anthoni chooses to keep his, and dumps the ice out on the pavement in the parking lot, and tosses the lid and straw in a nearby dumpster. As Jeff gets into the car and starts it, Anthoni pulls a can of Red Man Straight flavored tobacco from his pocket, and throws a big pinch of it into his lip, followed by spitting the loose grains of tobacco into the cup. Anthoni finally gets into the car, and the two Young brothers continue their journey to the airport...

When Jeff and Anthoni arrived at the airport, it was people were scrambling about, some trying to find their lost luggage, while others were preparing to board their flights. Anthoni retrieved his bag from the trunk of Jeff's car, and slung the strap over his shoulder. Jeff locked the car as soon as they were sure that they had everything, and then they made their way into the airport. Quicker than premature ejaculation, Jeff is caught by security, and gives up several pocket knives, and after several minutes of being held up by security, Anthoni and Jeff finally make it the counter, where they purchase two one way trip tickets to New York. They check Anthoni's bag into the luggage area, and then they step out side for Jeff to smoke a cigar. Jeff pulls a pack of black cherry Old Ports, the kind with no tips. Jeff lights one up and his face is lit up with a smile, having finally gotten a chance to satisfy his nicotine craving.

[+]Jeff[+] What happened to the smile you were wearing earlier?

[+]Anthoni[+] Why on earth would I be smiling in a time like this?

[+]Jeff[+] You were smiling when those kids wanted your autograph...and you laughed when got that shit from your sandwich on my jacket.

[+]Anthoni[+] I was faking it. That wasn't funny, I could have ruined your jacket. And I don't think those fans have any idea what I'm going through right now, the bastards.

[+]Jeff[+] Hey, don't be like that. I know you're hurting and all, but that's no reason to diss your fans.

Anthoni grabs Jeff by the collar of his jacket and shoves him hard against the wall, his eyes filled with rage.

[+]Anthoni[+] Don't you EVER, and I mean EVER tell me how I should behave...You have no fucking idea what I am going through!

[+]Jeff[+] Calm down, bro, calm down...please. Just let me go, and calm down.

Anthoni releases his brother reluctantly, his enraged eyes now saddening and filling with tears.

[+]Anthoni[+] I'm so sorry, Jeff...it just hurts so much...

[+]Jeff[+] I know dude, I know...

Anthoni and Jeff share a brotherly embrace, as Anthoni can no longer hold back the tears. The waters of anguish and pain descend freely upon his cheek, as Jeff tosses his cigar to the ground and stomps it out.

[+]Anthoni[+] I think we should go inside, its starting to get kind of cold out here.

[+]Jeff[+] Yeah, good idea. The two brothers walk back into the airport, and make their way back towards the terminal to wait for their flight to leave. Just as they sit down, Jeff recognizes an unpleasantly familiar face making his way through the crowd.

[+]Anthoni[+] What is it Jeff?

[+]Jeff[+] You're not going to believe this...but Logan Cage is on his way over here.

[+]Anthoni[+] You have got to be fucking kidding me.

[+]Jeff[+] 'Fraid not brother. I'll be right back.

[+]Anthoni[+] You can't just leave me here to deal with their crap.

But it was too late. Jeff had already wandered off in the direction of the restroom. Anthoni sighed, as Logan Cage smiled and waved at him. Anthoni merely nodded at him, while muttering obscenities under his breath.

[+]Logan[+] Anthoni, may I have a few moments of your time?

[+]Anthoni[+] Do I really have a choice?

[+]Logan[+] I promise you, this won't take long.

Logan quickly pulls out a tape recorder, and turns it on before Anthoni could object.

[+]Logan[+] First off, I'd like to congratulate you on your first successful title defense, having defeated Kronik at Revenge. However, your victory was somewhat bittersweet, as we learned at the end of the night that your four year-old son, Charles, had passed away. Our sincere condolences and prayers go out to you, Anthoni. How are you holding up?

[+]Anthoni[+] How the fuck do you think I'm holding up, Logan? My fiance died not too long ago, and then my son just died. What do you want me to say, that I'm staying strong? Do you expect me to say that I won't let my emotions get the better of me at Sin? If that is what you were expecting me to say, then you are sadly mistaken. The fact of the matter is that I just lost the two people I loved most in this world. My world is falling apart around me, Logan. All I have left are my brothers Rayne and Jeff, and this World Heavyweight Title.

[+]Logan[+] Speaking of Sin, it seems that you will be quite busy that night. First of all, you'll be the referee in the match between Priest and Captain Credible, and then later on, you will be competing in the Icon Invitational for the other half of Chris Wall's Tag Team Titles. Your thoughts?

[+]Anthoni[+] Priest and Captain Credible are two of this business' most gifted athletes. I've known Priest for quite sometime, in fact, to put it bluntly, I hate the bastard. Not only was it his brother who kidnapped my now deceased son, but Priest kidnapped my niece back in the UCWF. Both Rayne and I went to war with Priest several times over the course of our tenure in the UCWF, in some of the most brutal matches imaginable. Each side won some and lost some, but that's not something the fans will soon forget. I imagine that he will once again provoke me into kicking his ass, and I won't have a problem in obliging him.

[+]Logan[+] What about Credible? As I understand it, you two have some history as well?

[+]Anthoni[+] Well, there isn't much history to tell. He and I were both part of a group known as New Revolution Rising. The group didn't really do much, as it formed briefly before the closing of the UCW.

[+]Logan[+] So, as the guest referee for their one on one encounter at Sin, what must you be thinking, having to officiate the match between one of your most hated rivals, and the number one contender to your World Heavyweight Championship?

[+]Anthoni[+] What I think is irrelevant. All that matters is that they are doing battle with one another, not me. I'm only going to be there to make the count, or call the submission. However, if either of them should feel froggy, I gladly invite them to jump, it's not like I'm some defenseless bystander like Peter Till.

[+]Logan[+] I can see that you're getting ready to catch your flight, so this will be my final question. As we all know, you will be participating in the Icon Invitational, for the other half of the Tag Team Championship. What do you think your odds of winning are?

[+]Anthoni[+] Logan, as I'm sure everyone who has been watching me since I've signed with the WWA has noticed, I am one of the most dominant and successful stars in the company. I am the World Heavyweight Champion. I have faced and defeated some of the biggest names in this industry, and I'm not about to stop doing so just because I have the World Heavyweight Title. And the fact of the matter is that there is no one more fit to be Chris Wall's Tag Team Championship partner than myself. In previous years, I have been Tag Team Champion multiple times in every organization I've been in, which speaks volumes about my ability as a tag team wrestler. Now, I realize I will be up against the entire roster, Joey Johnson, Captain Credible, everyone. But despite what many think, this fact only makes me more eager for the match. This is the opportunity for me to silence all of my critics, and prove why I am the best in this business.

Right on cue, Jeff returned from the restroom, as the boarding of their flight was announced over the intercom. Anthoni gets up, and meets his brother. The two of them look back once more at Logan Cage, who was stuffing the tape recorder into his pocket, and then they proceeded to board their plane...
