What a long week. CMP was interesting to say the least. The paycheck made it worth it though. Off tomorrow to do some research on digital cameras. Cool fact that I found today while browsing the internet, CALTECH and CERN transfered 859 gigabytes of data in less than 17 minutes. Which equates to 6.63Gbps. Thats Gigabits Per Second! This is the fastest data transfer ever recorded. The setup was a S2io's Xframe 10 GbE server adapter, Cisco 7600 Series Routers, Newisys 4300 servers using AMD Opteron processors, Itanium servers and the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003. Pretty amazing stuff.

I've been working at my New job for about 5 weeks which I guess doesn't make it my new job anymore but whatever. Today I finally got SSI(Server Side Includes) to work. Now you should see that every table of contents menu, which is the menu on the left, is identical. This is accomplished because they all link using an include statement to a single file called, of all things, toc.htm. This allows me to make one change in the toc.htm file and have it reflect accross multiple pages on the site. Pretty cool if you ask me. I'm Off to Portland tonight to see some friends, and at CMP for the rest of the week.
