At 26 years of age I've decided it's time to move on in my life and leave the car racing scene. Reasons I don't care to sell the car:
1) paid off in full
2) been reliable thus far
3) dirt cheap insurance
4) 32 highway miles to the gallon is hard to beat
5) When you want to go, the car will move
I really wish I could keep the Civic since I am not 100% up to sell, but I can't. I plan to buy a house towards the end of the year so I need to get as much money together for a down payment on the new vehicle.

About the Hybrid......

I purchased the vehicle on October 21st, 2002 from a guy around town. The chasis now has about 175,000 miles on it. The car was completely stock. It did not take long before I yanked the motor and the modding of the car started. I have invested over $10,000 in this vehicle. EVERYTHING was installed by myself and help of my father excluding the exhaust system. I've spent hundreds of hours installing all the parts. By doing this myself I learned a hell of a lot and also knew it would be done right (torqueing bolts). The motor has NEVER thrown a check engine light since installed!! Barry's Muffler did the welding of the exhaust. Also, the custom security system was installed by a reliable shop with lifetime warranty.
The car has been raced on four occasions at Savannah Dragway 1/8th mile (3-5 passes per visit). I have run a couple 9.3's and numerous 9.4-9.5's at the track. 90% of the miles I have put on the car are highway miles.

A complete list of what's been done is below:

Security

The shop will replace ANYTHING if any part of the security system should fail. This is for the life of the vehicle. The alarm is a very well known name. The installation is custom which is why it costs me just over $500 (I have receipts). The car now has keyless entry. The car is virtually impossible for a theif to steal. I will give full details to the alarm system ONLY to the new owner! Also, there are options to add to the security system if desired.
