Sharing (Nov 2005)There were many street people around Civic Center, where we lived in San Francisco. One morning I went to a Burger King near my hotel for dinner. I said "Excuse me" to two guys at the entrance, and tried to pull the door open. One guy said, "You think I stand here to look funny? It hasn't open yet." When I left there for the hotel, a man in shabby walked forward and raised his hand. Instead of asking me for money, he offered a dollar bill, "Do you want some money for food?" Guessing I can't hold any longer as time goes by, I asked my friend to pull over to the roadside. I jumped out, and ran to a bush to leak. I felt so relieved when I came back to our car. They laguhed at me, "You look gorgeous." We had dinner at a Chinese Buffet that evening. After dinner, a waiter brought several fortune cookies.
