Finally an update 3-19-04
The EFWO has had some challenges over the last 2 months but we are still opening and running and putting on some of the best wrestling action around. Applications are open and we are gearing up for the next great EFWO PPV, EFWO Rebirth live April 4th, 2004. Come and be part of the EFWO tradition as we head toward our 5th year anniversary at Net Mania in mid May!!

New Year brings uncertainty to the EFWO. Jan 2nd 2004
The holiday break is over and as the New Year rolls in, the EFWO faces a murky future. All wrestlers were told to report to Monterey Mexico for Trauma. They have been told what their future holds as well as the future of the cash strapped federation. Also, the world title will be presented to High School Rumble winner Dave Strife in a ceremony at some point on the show. Tune in tonight to find out where the EFWO is headed.

ACLU Sues EFWO on Behalf of Wrestlers
The American Civil Liberties Union, which technically has no standing in such a case, has nevertheless took to representing the tag team Coming To America in a lawsuit filed against the company. The tag team claims that they have been unfairly discriminated against. Since they are resident aliens without any legal citizenship, the ACLU wouldnt have much of a case, but Colin Gilbert has altered the Coming To America banner to include himself, a born US citizen. The ACLU then jumped at the chance to assert itself in this case, as its progress against the Patriot Act has been slow at best, and they need what they feel to be a quick victory.

Rest assured, the EFWO wont go down without a fight, but with the company fast losing revenues, does it have the funds necessary to endure a legal battle? What will the Renegades say? What will the rest of the locker room have to say? The transcript of the press conference announcing the lawsuit is here.

EFWO has lowest attendence ever at Trauma 11-23-03
The EFWO held Trauma in Calgary Alberta Canada, but the official attendence for this event was only 252. With a teamster union tractor trailer blockade outside the arena, fans that might have wantes to attend the event couldn't. EFWO attendence figures have been dropping steadily for months, but this was the worse. The declinging attendence and lacjluster tv deal is causing the EFWO to face other monetary problems. Layoffs were announced to the ring crew and other support staff last night as well.

EFWO referee strike moves into its 4th week. 11-20-03
The strike that has seen all the EFWO referees walk off the job since late October continues into it's 4th week. The referees originally walked off after considering the EFWO too dangerous after an attack by Widowmaker Damian Spires. Since then the referees have added better pay, and more benefits to their demands. No talks are ongoing. The referees have been getting more and more support as the teamsters union has now been showing up outside of EFWO events. The EFWO has been using scabs trained the same day of the event, getting men from places such as work release programs, temporary employment agencies and even retirement homes.

EFWO loses TV contract, signs a new one.
Last week, the network EFWO has been with for over three years severed all ties with the federation after the EFWO refused to clean up their act. The station was tired of being fined by the FCC. After it looked like the EFWO would no longer be televised, the Renegades signed a contract with the Carrying Really Avaerage Programming Network...or C.R.A.P. Network for short. The network only has 800,000 subscribers nationwide meaning EFWO is going to have to fight for exposure. Is this another hit into EFWO's already bleak financial picture.

EFWO General Update 11-12-03
Alot has been happening in the EFWO. EFWO President Damian Spires has vacated the World Heavyweight Title to persue his presidential duties. He has announced that it will be up for grabs to the winner of the High SChool Rumble live and on Pay-per-View December 21st. At least thirty men will fight for the chance to be the next EFWO World champion

Shane Adams has left the federation and has vacated the EFWO Commonwealth Title. No immediate plans have been made for that title

The EFWO Tag Team TItles changed hands when Damian Grim and Nathan Summers defeated D-X. Rumor has it that D-X will be leaving the federation following the 11-17 edition of SHockwave.

The Referee strike continues forcing the EFWO to find scab refs at unorthodox spots. THis week they filled those spots with prisoners from local prison work release programs. Next week, they are getting men from a homeless shelter

EFWO releases 3rd quarter earnings report and PPV numbers.
The E-federation World Order has announced that gross revenues were 65% below Wall Street Projections and that an operating loss of about twelve million dollars occured in the 3rd fiscal quarter of 2003 that ended September 30th.

Additionally the Helloween PPV at the end of October, usually one of the EFWO's strongest, failed to live up to buy rate expectations by a large margin. Sources say the reason for the low buy rate range from a weak world heavyweight title challenger, LIWA's Masquerade Ball PPV being held the same night and an overall lack of big name talent.

Analysts are saying that the EFWO could be in serious financial decline and will need a strong finish to the fourth quarter with it's High School Rumble Pay-Per-View in order to save their overall fiscal year.

EFWO's stock fell nine and a half points on the news during heavy trading on the NASDAQ stock market.

Iceman's review of Helloween2k3
Last night at The Pepsi Center in Denver Colorado the EFWO spectacular HELLoween2K3 was held and was an undeniable success.

Just over 19,309 crammed into the home of the Avalanche.

I The Chosen one was there and my thoughts on the night are conflicted.

Helloween2k3 Is HUGE
Helloween2k3 live on pay-per-view saw many surprises and many sick bumps. The wedding of Sheila and Damian ended in violence! Widowmaker retains the EFWO world title in one of the violent matches ever... and then Jimmy Rhydin announced that Widowmaker is the new EFWO President. The entire crowd and roster was aghast.

Other action on the night saw Sheila retain her title when she buried Jill alive. Jack McGraw won the IC title, while Mystery won the forty plus minute masqurade parking lot battle royal that saw everything from gun shots to carbon monoxide poisoning.

Derrick Farrell suffered third degree burns and Shane Adams lost his hair in the Heaven and Hell match that saw Adams retain his commonwealth title. Triple C saved Tiffany... but no one knows if they made it out of the building alive.

EFWO Helloween2k3 to air Sunday live on Pay-Per-View
The EFWO is set to air what may be its biggest pay-per-view of the air thsi Sunday, October 26th live from The Pepsi Arena in Denver Colorado. President Rhydin announced on SHockwave that this card would be brutal and it appears he was right. But starting the night off will be the unholy weedding of Shiela Peters and World Champ Damian Spires. Both of them will defend their titles later in the night. Spires will face Steve Tustin in a electrified cage death match that promises to be spectacular.

In addition, every belt in ERFWO will be on the line with violent stipulations tied to every match. first blood dog collar match, Heaven and Hell match and the parking lot masquerade battle royal for the new Hardcore title.

For a full run donw on this great card CLICK HERE and remember to call your local cable or satelite provider and order Helloween2k3 this Sunday!

Final Shockwave before Helloween2k3 yields surprises.
SHockwave came live from San Antonio Texas Monday and it was full of surprises. After voting on Trauma to go on strike, the referees stuck to their word and walked out at the beginning of Shockwave. Scabs filled in for the night, but it leaves the EFWO with lots of questions for the future.

The biggest surprise of the night came when Iceman faced off against Cole Cash. The end of the match saw Iceman join the already potent Renegade stable.

Trauma Airs Tonight 10-17-03
Be sure to watch Trauma tonight as the countdown to Helloween continues to descend. In the main event, Iceman will have the tables turned on him when he must face Summers and Cash in a handicapped match! Plus new faces leading off the show, the women's division invades Trauma and Damian Grim faces off with Creeping Death.

Be sure to tune into Trauma later tonight!

The whole of EFWO is very predictable, Damian. They're nothing more than a flock of sheep waiting to be put out of their misery.
