HVPN Special Interest Groups

Chanting | Growing Things | Stained Glass |

We have been forming a variety of special interest groups which are described below. For privacy purposes, we are posting our HVPN email address here rather than people's phone numbers. Hope to see you in one of our special interest groups! Bring a friend - the more the merrier!!

General information about the groups can be found below. Check the calendar for dates, times, locations, and other details.

Chanting Group

We chant Pagan/Goddess oriented chants and often lead in the chanting at the HVPN rituals. We also perform at the annual Yule event. We meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7pm. Check the calendar for location details each month - we move around!. Bring a cushion to sit on! Contact Maryann at [email protected] for directions and to join the group.

Growing Things

We explore the local plant life, herbalism, and gardening. We expect to contribute appropriate plants and herbs to our community celebrations in the future. We'll share our knowledge and experience of incorporating plants into our lives, both spiritual, educational, and gustatory.

The group meets every fourth Sunday of the month at 12:30. Meeting locations vary as we plan to visit many of the natural sites throughout the Capitol District. We will even have indoor meetings during inclement weather. For more information, contact Susan at [email protected].

Stained Glass Guild

We meet when we want. Purchases usually include glass (though Randy has donated most of it for everyone's first project), foil and any "extras" you want to use - all glass cutters, grinders, etc are available from Randy. No experience is needed to join us.We meet at Randy's house in Delanson. If you are intereseted, contact Randy at [email protected].
