Membership and Dues Structure
 

The Hudson Valley Pagan Network, Inc. was founded in 1993 by five individuals who were interested in facilitating Community amongst area Pagans. The organization has grown from a mere handful of people meeting in one another's living rooms, to a vital and active group meeting in larger public venues. In 1996 the group was registered as an official Not-for-Profit Corporation with the New York Department of State, and in July of 2000, we were determined Federally Tax Exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service Code. As we grow, so does the number of events and service projects we can sponsor. There are social events like the annual Witch's Ball and the annual Paganic, educational events like HVPN University (an annual teaching day for Pagans), public and semi-public Ritual for the Sabbats, and charitable community activities. We have many projects planned for the coming years, and look forward to your ideas and participation. Member input drives the organization, so join today and get involved! HVPN Membership is available to Individuals. Social Members receive the HVPN Newsletter, Crescent Shadows, and may attend any HVPN event, receiving any applicable Member discount. Voting Members are entitled to all member benefits listed above, and are also entitled to vote in any HVPN voting action. Dues are slightly less for Voting Members, but each Voting Member must complete an annual work committment within the organization. Work committments are easy and fun to fulfill and may include things like committee participation, or working on a ritual or event. Dues are $25 per year for a Voting Membership and $35 per year for a Social Membership. Memberships are renewed annually on April 30th. When joining after the annual renewal date, dues are prorated as follows for the portion of the Membership year remaining.
