Yule Celebration - December 18th, 2004. We did a combined celebration with the Astral Light Temple at the Trinity Temple in Albany. We ate, caroled, ate, opened up presents, ate and had a great time!

HVPN Movie Night: Rocky Horror Picture Show. - October 22nd, Midnight. Trinity Temple. Held after our Pyschic Fair, a group of us went to the Temple and rocked out to this cinematic classic. There were a few who had never experienced it before and were quickly educated by some of our more experienced members. Let's do the time warp again!!!

Samhain Event - October 31st, 2004. At Mandi's house this year. What a magickal night! We gathered around the fire, war paint smeared on our faces, and we faced, through guided meditation, our fears that we wanted to conquer. Dancing and singing followed as we raised the energy into the night sky. As usual, a great feast followed!

Mabon Celebration - September 18th, 2004. In conjunction with the Trinity Temple/Albany Astral Light Temple. An event that was preceded by a discussion by Deborah Lipp, author of The Way of Four: Create Elemental Balance in Your Life. There was lots of chanting, storytelling and drumming. A great event!

Lughnassah Event - July 31st, 2004. Allan's house. A night of lively ritual and poker. Can't get any better than this.

Paganic - July 11th, 2004. Peebles Island State Park. Yet another year of great food and conversation. We weren't able to get the pavilion this year but we made due with picnicing under the blessed shade of the trees.

Midsummer Event - June 26th, 2004. Mandi's house. Around the bonfire we sang the praises of the Gods and passed around a Goddess-shaped bread that Claudia made. After leaping over the fire (no injuries reported) a great feast followed. Thanks for all who put on this great event!

Beltane Event - April 25, 2004. Peebles Island State Park in Waterford. We had a medieval theme this year. The Fool chose Steve and Sheree (engaged in real life) as the new King and Queen of the May. A rather chilly day, we warmed ourselves up with a spiral dance and a dizzying turn around the maypole. Thanks to Donna for putting on a great ritual.

Ostara Celebration - March 21, 2004. At the Trinity Temple in Albany. As the Green Man and a very pregnant Earth Mother looked on, we blessed our danced to wake the earth, planted our seeds and celebrated the coming of Spring. Thanks to Mandi for a great ritual.

HVPN University - March 13, 2004 at the Upton Women's Center at the Russell Sage campus in Troy. Theme was "Tools for the Modern Pagan" with keynote speaker Isaac Bonewits, who spoke at both lunch and dinner. Classes included Sacred Circle Dance, Tarot: Beyond Divination, Wands & Staves, Creating Your Own Tarot Spreads, and Ritual Foods. The entire day was spent attending classes, shopping at the vendor tables and eating all the great food. Thanks to Susan for putting on a great event.

Imbolc Celebration - Friday, January 30, 2004. Jen S. chaired a great event where we gathered together to seek out clues of spring from around the room. From there we put them together on the alter and raised the energy to let Mother Nature know -- WE ARE READY FOR SPRING!!! After we had a fun night of food, games and making Brigid's Crosses out of stalks Claudia provided. Thanks to the committee for a great event.
