| Oh Lord God on High, Supreme Commander of the Hosts of the Righteous, we thy humble servants ask that thou shalt view our humble gathering with mercy and grant that we may in all ways do thy bidding. We pray that thou may giveth strength, that the actions of our bodies, the meditations of our hearts, and the words of our mouths shall pleaseth thee. In the name of thy son Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with thee now and forever, one god Eternal. Amen. In these days of sin and immorality, the unholy hosts of the Prince of Hell walk among the unsuspecting and the weak of will. The Divine Creator has given his children the strength to walk among these beasts in the gardens of temptation, to purify the minds of his children and to select the righteous for eternal life. While the children of the Lord do walk blindly forth, the need for a guide to the People of God and an enemy to the Hosts of Hell grows ever closer to crisis. In these days, the children of God depend upon the guidance of the Mother Church, and the strength of will of the Holy Warriors of the Lord for the redemption of their bodies and the salvation of their souls. And so, to banish from the Earth the servants of Evil, to protect the souls of the true and blessed in the eyes of the Lord, and to preserve the rights and holiness of all of the People of God, we do hereby found this Blessed Order, to take up the Sword of Justice and fight ever diligently against the powers of Lucifer, denying him forever in all his works and all his ways, until the coming of the day of Judgment and the Revelation of our Lord. Amen. We shall be known as the Order of Saint Michael the Archangel, first among the hosts of Heaven, he who is as God. As does Michael serve the Lord in all ways, so too shall the Blessed Members of the Order serve to defeat the foul treachery that is the work of the Evil One. And we shall have a place within our Order for all the goodly peoples of the Earth that shall be deemed worthy and just and fitted to serve in this most Holy Order. And in this we shall allow to join all those who forever forsake the Devil and deny him into their hearts, and we shall be a broad and deep cadre of the just, and we shall be forever vigilant against the Evil One, without and within the Order. And to ensure that we are strong in Body, Mind, and Spirit, we shall have within our Order three Congregations, which shall serve together to do the Will of the Lord, with none first amongst them, but all equal in the eyes of the Order and of the Lord. And the First Congregation shall be the Order of Saint Gabriel, the warrior, favored General of the Hosts of Heaven. And the Michealean Order of Saint Gabriel will be strong of arm and swift of steed and shall be garbed with the strongest of armors and equipped with the sharpest of blades. For the Host of Gabriel shall be the defenders and noble warriors of the Order and shall fight ever against the Evil One and all his foul minions. And the Host of Gabriel shall serve above all God the Father, whose vengeance and wrath shall be visited upon the unholy. And the Second Congregation shall be the Order of Saint Raphael, the scholar, wisest of the Hosts of Heaven. And the Michealean Order of Saint Raphael shall be wise and learned and shall preserve the tales of the lives of the Godly and shall keep the monies of the Order so that no evil be done thereby but only blessed, good, and charitable works of holiness. For the Host of Raphael shall be scholars and teachers of the Order and shall preserve forever the knowledge and wisdom of the Righteous. And the Host of Raphael shall serve above all God the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, whose mercy and sacrifice shall ever guide the Faithful. And the Third Congregation shall be the Order of Saint Uriel, the mystic, imbued with the power of the Holy Spirit and terrible in anger amongst the Hosts of Heaven. And the Michealean Order of Saint Uriel shall be sanctified and devoted and shall know the will of God through study and prayer. For the Host of Uriel shall be the shepherds and guides of the Order and shall be the beacon of light to guide the Faithful to the path of Righteousness. So all this shall be done, and the Order shall be raised on high and sanctified in the eyes of God. And the Host of Uriel shall serve above all God the Spirit, who is holy and sanctified, whose strength and purity shall ever deny victory to the enemies of the Lord. And so that the Will of the Lord be done, those of pure heart and clear mind shall approach the Order and beseech to enter into blessed union with Saint Michael, so that forever more the will of the aspirant and the will of the Order shall be one. And at that time, a council shall be formed, consisting of at least one Adept of each Congregation, and the petition of the aspirant shall be heard, and his history laid bare before the eyes of the council and the eyes of the Lord. And it shall be determined whether the aspirant is worth to enter into union with the Order, and which Congregation would be best served by the work and deeds of the aspirant. And if the council shall determine that the mind and body of the aspirant are pure, and the life and deeds of the aspirant and the Order shall be cleanly and agreeably joined, then shall the council submit to a Master of the Congregation well chosen to be foremost in the heart of the aspirant that there is a young petitioner wishing admittance to the Order. And then shall the Master choose or reject the petition of the aspirant, as he shall be guided by the wisdom of his mind and the will of the Lord. And if he shall be chosen, he shall be bathed and purified, and sanctified and given the Oath saying: I am but a poor lost soul, knowing not whence to go within this world. But my heart is pure and my soul is calm and I wouldst join the Order of Saint Michael, that my life shall be joined forever with the Order. I swear to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, upon my immortal soul that I shall not act against the Order, that I shall devote myself fully to the sacred mission of Saint Michael, and that I shall obey the Rule of the Order in all things until I shall be taken from this earth and brought into the Holy Presence of the Lord God Almighty. And so swearing, the aspirant shall become a Novice of the Order. And each Novice shall serve the Order, well and faithfully. And after he hath served for enough time so as to reach an understanding of the essential place in his life that the Order shall have, and that he hath learned the wisdom of the Masters, then he shall be approached by the Masters of his Congregation, and they shall say, Hearken to me young one, for though you have not yet progressed to greatness, we see that greatness in your body and mind and soul, and we wouldst that you shall join us forevermore. And so saying, the Masters of his Congregation shall bring the Novice to a sacred place, and they shall wash him of his impurities and they shall garb him in a robe of the finest linen, and he shall fast for three days and take nothing but water into his body, but rather mediate upon the Order and the whole of Creation and his place in it. And if it should be that the Novice shall have a good and righteous heart, and if he shall satisfy the Masters of his Congregation through such testing as they shall devise that he is a good and pure and right proven member of the Order, then they shall bring him to the Holy of Holies and there shall make him swear thusly: From darkness and confusion I have brought myself forth, to the beginnings of wisdom and purpose I come. I am but a humble servant of the Order and of the Lord God Almighty. To the Order and to the Lord I give all that I am, that I may serve always as a beacon of purity in an uncertain world. From this day forth, my purpose and the Orders purpose shall be one. I am the humble servant of the Lord, command me in all things. And so swearing, the Novice shall become fully an Adept of the Order, and for those of the Congregation of Gabriel, he shall be known as a Knight, and for those of the Congregation of Raphael, he shall be known as a Scholar, and for those of the Congregation of Uriel, he shall be known as a Deacon. And the new member shall be assigned to the station and chapter as befitting his talents, and he shall serve forevermore the Order of Saint Michael. And when it shall pass that a Master of the Order shall pass into the arms of the Lord, or when there is need within the Congregation, all of the Masters of that Congregation shall come together, or as many as may, and they shall choose from among the Adepts of their Congregation three among them that have proven, through thought and deed, that they embody the fullest principals of the Congregation. And they shall then approach the High Master of the Congregation and the High Master shall choose two of the Adepts to progress, and the Adepts so chosen shall approach the Grand Master of the Order of Saint Michael, and the Grand Master shall choose from among them he who is most well prepared for the mantle of responsibility and he that is chosen shall become a Master of their Congregation and if he be of the Congregation of Gabriel, he shall be known as a Knight Commander, and if he be of the Congregation of Raphael, he shall be known as a Dean, and if be of the Congregation of Uriel, he shall be known as a Pontifex. And when it shall pass that the High Master of a Congregation of the Order shall pass into the arms of the Lord, all of the Masters of that Congregation shall come together, or as many as may, and they shall choose from amongst themselves three among them that have proven, through action and faith, that they embody the fullest principals of the Congregation. And they shall then approach the High Masters of the other Congregations and the High Masters shall choose two of the Masters to progress, with the wisdom of their minds and knowing the heart of the former High Master, and the Masters so chosen shall approach the Grand Master of the Order of Saint Michael, and the Grand Master shall choose from amongst them he who is most well prepared for the mantle of leadership and he thatAnd when it shall pass that the High Master of a Congregation of the Order shall pass into the arms of the Lord, all of the Masters of that Congregation shall come together, or as many as may, and they shall choose from amongst themselves three among them that have proven, through action and faith, that they embody the fullest principals of the Congregation. And they shall then approach the High Masters of the other Congregations and the High Masters shall choose two of the Masters to progress, with the wisdom of their minds and knowing the heart of the former High Master, and the Masters so chosen shall approach the Grand Master of the Order of Saint Michael, and the Grand Master shall choose from amongst them he who is most well prepared for the mantle of leadership and he that is chosen shall become the High Master of their Congregation and if he be of the Congregation of Gabriel, he shall be known as the Lord Commander, and if he be of the Congregation of Raphael, he shall be known as the Learned Father, and if be of the Congregation of Uriel, he shall be known as the Blessed Mystic. And when it shall pass that the Grand Master of the Order of Saint Michael shall pass into the arms of the Lord, the High Masters of the Order shall come together, and they shall approach all of the Adepts of the Order, gathered in Conclave, and those Adepts shall choose from among the High Masters two to progress, and the High Masters so chosen shall approach the Masters of the Order of Saint Michael, gathered in Conclave, and the Masters of the Order shall choose he who is most well prepared for the mantle of command and he that is chosen shall become the Grand Master of the Order and he shall choose from among the Masters of the Congregation from which he rises up a single Master who is well prepared to bear the mantle of leadership, and he that is so chosen shall become the High Master of that Congregation. And so doing, the Grand Master shall take up the Sword of Justice, and the Helm of Purity, and the Orb of Eternal Charity, and he shall be known as the Lord Knight, and the High Marshall, and he shall rule over the Order for the rest of his days. So shall the Order grow and prosper, and all that know it shall see the works of the Lord in all the actions of the Order. May God the Creator give to the Order of Saint Michael strength, knowledge, and faith, that it may do always the work of the Lord. Amen. And so I set upon this page my sign and seal, on this 20th day of March, in the Year of our Lord Eleven Hundred and Ninety Eight, declaring that on this day, this new Order has come into being. And whosoever shall wish to join the Order from amongst this blessed circle shall set down their sign and seal below and shall thenceforth be inducted into the Blessed Order of Saint Michael. May the purity of the Holy Spirit and the guidance of the Heavenly Hosts guide our actions, our minds, and our souls as we strive to do the work of the Order and the will of the Lord. Amen |
