Congratulations to Sir Richard Dannatt for a forthright expression of truth about war in Iraq. As many of his troops have said, watch out for trouble if he is sacked. Of course, Blair is much too artful to take that risk. He blatantly declares that he is in total agreement with the army's Chief of Staff. Well, well. I do not recall Blair ever mentioning that the presence of British troops in the country 'exacerbates' security problems there and here. Or that we and America 'kicked down the door' in Iraq rather than waiting to be invited. But of course Blair, like all zealots, believes in his own words and actions unquestioningly.
