Industrial Experience
[1] Working for SEWON, Electro-Circuit Systems, Korea, since April 2005. Two projects are being carried out. First one is to develop surface electrical discharge based ionizer for negative ion generation and indoor air cleaning applications. Reactors have been successfully designed, developed and tested. Some improvements are being made currently. High negative ion concentrations with minimal generation of ozone are the key features of these reactors. Second project is to test run a plasma reactor for NOx removal from diesel engine exhaust. The assignment with the company also includes training their engineers in fundamentals of electrostatics and electrical discharge plasma.
[2] Providing technical consultancy in the area of electrical discharges, high voltage engineering and environmental remediation techniques to some of the industries in Korea.
