Research Experience
Research Assistant, IC Equipments Lab, THU
Advisor: Chuxiong Hu (Assistant Professor of ME)
- Conducted system identification on XY biaxial linear motor table to obtain transfer function and modelling parameters. Tuned PID controller and programmed on dSPACE controller board
- Designed control algorithm based on Iterative Learning Control (ILC) and Adaptive Robust Control (ARC) to improve tracking precision and transient learning behavior, the root-meansquare value of tracking error of one axis motion could be reduced to about 0.15 ¦Ìm
- Future work: coordinate biaxial motion, design contour motion control frame for complex curve
Research Assistant, Robotics Lab, THU
Advisor: Chenglong Fu (Associate Professor of ME)
- Collaborator of serial elastic actuator based active prosthesis program; tuned Maxon servomotor and CAN-fieldbus as well as serial port communication
- Analyzed dynamics of gait and influence of elastic poles (a Chinese traditional transport tool) as well as obesity (viewed as elastic load) and simulated bipedal locomotion and elastic load on
walking using Matlab and Simulation Construction Set; simulated energy saving reached 10%
- Identified necessary condition of energy-saving mechanism is inverse vibration of elastic load in relation to vibration of body¡¯s center of gravity
Summer Intern, Control & Mechatronics Lab at National University Singapore
Advisor: Hong Geok Soon (Associate Professor of ME)
- Collaborator of Battery Management System (BMS) program. Developed embedded system using 32-bit MCU AVR32; designed CAN-fieldbus application layer, central unit Labview software and human machine interface. BMS is installed on NUS¡¯s latest electrical vehicle
