Bear making for me began as a hobby which quickly grew into a small business that has helped me make friends & visited interesting places all over the world.
Although my bears are can be made in american velvet, alpaca or one of interesting new plush fabrics, mohair is still my favourite material. Pads are usually made from ultrasuede and noses are embroidered with either silk or cotton thread. Bears are predominately stuffed with polyester but some have glass pellet filled feet to help them to stand unaided or it is in their tums to give a sqidgy feel. Glass pellets are not as heavy as lead so the same characteristics can be acheived without the weight. All bears are fully jointed - over 2"- with cotter pin joints and under 2"- are string jointed. Finally I use either glass eyes, old boot buttons on bigger bears and beads of various description on mini bears.
Each bear comes with a swing tag carrying his/her name, issue number and my signature. A special message can be added upon request. At the base of the back seam there is a tush tag of appropriate size and all other than Pola carry my logo HB embroidered on their left foot.

RETURNS - Being a cottage industry, it is not possible to offer bears on approval, if however you feel that a bear does not reach your expectations, we can exchange him for one of a similar value plus a small handling charge of �5.00p, or you may return him in good condition within 7days for a refund minus a handling charge of �15.00p.
In the unlikely event of a bear arriving in a damaged condition, please contact us immediately to facilitate a speedy replacement.
