2007 Reunion
Many thanks to our hosts Ray and Becky Thomas and their family for hosting a great reunion this year. The events and schedules went off very well and ther was plenty of things to see and do in Texas.
Our first day was full of events starting with a trip to the USS Texas to hold the Memorial Service for fellow shipmates. We were joined by the LA PORTE Jr. Highschool Choir who provided us with the song for the Memorial. After lunch we received a insiders tour of NASA and had a chance meeting of the STS-124 shuttle crew. Day two of our trip was just as full as day one with a tour of Texas A&M followed after lunch with visit to the George Bush Library.
On thursday our final evening together we had a great banquet at the Junction followed by a desert gathering at the Hotel where the room was decorated to resemble the USO which look very nice.(Outstanding Job Becky everything was great) Shipmates said their farewells and departed for home.
2008 Reunion is schduled to be held in Orlando, FL. look for detals to come.
