Psalms 119:105
My job requires me to work different shifts. When I arrive home after working a third shift. I am ready for that warm bed.
I can't wait to get into bed and shut my eyes. It seems like when you have been up all night, the bed seems to be more comfortable.
On this one paticular morning. I was sleeping and I began to dream. When I awoke something was unusal. The nightmare that I had had was forgotten by the light shining in the window.
This was the first time in my life that I had a nightmare in the daytime. Nightmares in the night are a lot more freightning. They seem to last longer. Even when you try to go back to sleep they are still on your mind. But in the daytime, it is different. Them beautiful rays of sunshine take away the fears of darkness.
When I awoke I began to think of how powerful God is. In the beginning when God created the heaven and the earth. The earth was at first a shapless and chaotic mass. The spirit of God was brooding over the dark vapors. Then God said, "Let there be light." and light appeared and God saw that the light was good.
Can you imagine a world of darkness? Guest what? There is a world of darkness. It's called Hell. It is an everlasting place of torment for those who fail to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Jesus said, "The light of the body is the eye". If your eye is pure, there will be sonshine in your soul. But if your eye is clouded with evil thoughts and desires, you are in spiritual darkness. And oh, how deep the darkness can be!
Don't die in the darkness of sin my friend. It's a permanent dwelling place that was created for the Devil and his rebellious demons.
Open up the windows of your life. Open your eyes and feel the warmth of the light. Jesus is that light! Jesus wants to come into your life. He wants to bring rest unto your soul. He wants to give you a peace like you have never known.
The nightmares of this life are nothing like the permanent nightmares that will take place for those who forget God. The Bible says, "A nation that forgets God will be turned into hell."
Hopefully before this life is over you can hear Jesus say,
"Wake up! It's going to be ok. It was just a nightmare. You just had a bad dream. You are not lost. You are my child. I am going to be with you always, even unto the end of the world."
Heavenly Sonlight ! Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus!
