There are people today that pray to the mother Mary. Mary was the mother of Jesus. The Angel told Mary, "Blessed Art Thou Among Women" She was highly favored for God chose her to have the baby Jesus.
Jesus loved and honored his mother. Mary loved and cared for him. Jesus was the Son of God who died on a cross so that we might have eternal life. (see John 3:16)
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There is no other way to the Father except through Him.
Let's hear what Jesus said when someone told him that his mother and brothers desired to speak with him outside. Jesus responded...
"Who is my mother ? and who are my brothers ? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brothers!" He went on to say, "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." (Matthew 12:48)
This is your invitation friend to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. You don't need a pope, priest or man in a little room to confess your sins. You don't even need to pray to Mary. You need a King. That King is Jesus.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son that whosoever (includes me and you) believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Don't confess your sins to a man. Man can't forgive sins. There is only one way to enter in. Jesus said,
"Truely I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber." (John 10:1)
Jesus is that Door ! (John 10:7)
