Who said that being a Christian was going to be easy ? Not Jesus ! Jesus said, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." (John 15:18) That's some pretty strong words.
Do you know why the world hates you and persecutes you ? It's because Christians have light in them. When a light shines in a dark place it voids the darkness. Sin then gets exposed. No one wants their sins out in the open. That's why the courts are wanting to hide the ten commnadments.
Whatever burdens you are carrying listen to Jesus and get a touch from the Master. Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
(Matt. 11:28)
You see everyone goes up and down this roller coaster of life. We all have burdens to bear.
But the burdens of life are so much easier when you got a friend like Jesus.
Friends can come and go. But Jesus said, "I will never leave thee or forsake thee."
(Hebrews 13:5) He went on to say, "...I am with you always even unto the end of the world." (Matthew 28:20)
Isn't Jesus wonderful ! Those words in red can do wonders if you will just "Be still and know that I am God" (Psalms 46:10)
Jesus wants you to have joy, love and peace. He wants you to have rest. He has a plan for you. Don't let the Devil break you. Don't ever give up ! Jesus will never let you down.
Jesus wants to put your life back together.
I love the song "Broken Pieces" The Chorus goes...He won't throw you away, He still uses broken things. Though you may feel so worthless, He'll love you just the same. To Jesus it doesn't matter, what sin has caused you to do. He'll take the broken pieces, Of your life and make them new.

Just listen and you'll hear that still small voice say come home child.
Just like the prodical son who took a journey into a far country. When he had no where else to go, he started back home. When his Father saw him, he had compassion and ran and fell on his neck, and kissed him. The son said "Father, I have sinned" The Father replied, "Bring forth a new white robe. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost and is found."
Repent and come home son. Your Father is waiting ! Oh, what a loving Father. Thank you Lord!
