| Who is Jesus? |
| When Moses stood before God. He asked, "When I come before the children of Israel and they ask for your name. What shall I say unto them?" God said, "I am that I am" Ex. 3:14 In the book of Matthew we hear God say after Jesus was baptised, "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."....Matt. 4:17 In the book of John shortly after Jesus had told Peter that he would deny him. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me."...John 14:6 Jesus told the Jews that their father Abraham rejoiced when He seen Jesus. The Jews accused him of having a devil because Abraham had died over two thousand years earlier. Jesus replied, "Before Abraham was, I am."...John 8:58 When Jesus asked Peter, "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" Peter answered, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."...Matt.16:13-18 The Jews came and asked him again, "If you are the Christ, tell us."Jesus said, "I and my Father are one." ...John 10:24-30 -----------------Continued from Page 1.------------------ Jesus said, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" When Lazarus died. Martha his sister told Jesus, "Lord, by this time he stinketh for he has been dead four days." Jesus prayed unto his Father and cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus Come Forth!" ...John 11:25-43 Later Jesus was brought into the judgment hall before Pilot. Pilot asked, "Art thou a King?" Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world." ...John 18:33-36 Man nailed Jesus, the Son of God to a cross. He was crucified, died a horrible death. But it didn't end there. JESUSAROSE victorious over death, hell, and the grave. After Jesus ascended to heaven he would later tell John in the Spirit, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."... Rev. 1:8 When John saw him, John said, "I fell at his feet as dead and he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead: and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."...Rev. 1:17-18 So the question remains,"Who is Jesus?"You decide. I agree with the Disciple John, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"...John 1:1 How great thou art! Praise the Lord! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life....John 3:16 Do you believe ? |
