| My testimony: This part is always hard. I stop to wonder: When did God touch my life? That answer is so clear now...He always had his hand on me. Now I have to wonder when did I accept that warm and loving hand? It was towards the end of August (2004) when I quit my job to better my family. I quit without another job lined up and left it all up to God. I prayed for forgiveness and repented all my sins (and boy did I have a lot of them!!). At that moment I knew I had been saved. God grabbed a hold of my hand and showed me all the times that He had always been there and this is where He lead me: He lead me through a seperation, he lead me through an affair that turned into an absurd debacle, He lead me back to my family, and He lead me back to HIM. It was also at that moment that I found a whole new family, my church family. Some things that I have learned that I keep in my mind as well as my heart are these base principles: You must believe In God to be saved. There is only one true God. You cannot be a lone christian. You must prayer; that's the only way God will listen. It's tough work being a Christian...but it's worth an enternal life. |
