03/17/2004 - St Patrick's Day
Happy St. Patrick's Day to all yee who visit the SWR. Things at PSU are crazy as always, but hey It'll all be worth it someday. Spring Break was awesome, seeing as that I spent it in the warm climate of Alabama, instead of the bitter cold northeast. The weather there was sunny and 75, and now I have to come back to snow and 30 degrees. Grrrrrrrrrr.....At least spring is only 3 days away (offically anyway). I hope all of you enjoy have enjoyed your spring breaka, and I look forward to seeing y'all over the summer, only a few weeks away. Oh, and Kate and anyone else who forced me and Cap into that New Year's Eve prank with Legolas...YOU OWE US COOKIES!!!!!!!!!! That is All. Not sure what I'm up to this weekend. I plan on going to party with Ben at some point...so if anything crazy happens with is an almost certainty I'll have updates on Monday...or whenever I'm dilligent enough to update my sit...which ever occurs first...Peace Out.
02/29/2004 - Leap Year Day !!!!
Warm Air Advection has given rise to unseasonably warm temperatures hovering around 60 degrees! In other news the Penn State University Lady Lions basketball team won the Big Ten regular season championship earilier today here at the Bryce Jordan Center. A crowd of over 17,500 watched The lions rally from a 14 point halftime deficit to defeat the Purdue Boiliermakers 69-60. Penn State was led by the all-time Big Ten leading scorer Kelly Mazzante who had 24 points. There was much rejoicing on campus as PSU had just captured another piece of championship hardware from the trophy case at Rec-Hall.
Infantolino goes crazy, jumps off balcony
January 24, 2004 - State College, PA. It was supposed to a normal collegiate party at the Beaver Hill Appts on East Beaver Avenue that evening. Food, movies, even a few drinks were on the order for the night. That changed however when Ben Infantolino decided to prank a few of the girls at the party. He quickly devised a plan that was doomed to failure from the get go. He intended, it appears to have all of the party guests leave the appartment, while he would sneek around to the front and scare the three remaining girls who were hanging out in another bedroom. Upon luring the rest of the startled party guests outside onto a balcony, Infantolino realized that because he was not at ground level, one could not simply just run around to the front of the place. But did that stop old Ben???...of course not! Before anyone could stop him, Infanolino claimed over the railing and jumped/fell into a snow bank below. Meanwhile shock and laughter filled the faces of the stunned onlookers. By the time he got up and ran around to the otherside, his plan had been foiled. Upon his return he was greeted with laughter and disbelief. Infantolino, later admitted he wasn't exactly sure why he jumped, but seemed to think it had something to do with him being a kinesology major. "What can I say...?" "I'm a Kines major for cipes sake!!!" He went on to say " Besides you know me, I had to prove it could be done."
