The very best time
to eat a hot Pasty?
A cold autunm night
when the weather is nasty.

Bundled in afghans,
and flannel attire -
all comfy and cozy
by bright, blazing fire.

With fondest of memories,
I think of the land
that's dotted with
roadside Pasty stands.

The Pasty, it came,
as we have been told,
from the Cornish miners
in days of old.

The Yoop's own traditional
meal and treasure -
the Pasty fills hearts
with warmth and pleasure.
