Welcome to Huron Park's Class of 1993 Website!
This site was created to reconnect and provide updates
regarding Huron Park Secondary School’s Class of 1993. Some of the information I
was able to gather from sending emails through the classmates.com
website (without becoming a member) and now through facebook.

In October 2005, I attended the high school reunion and was
able to meet some staff and colleagues, which was truly an amazing experience. It
was great seeing everyone again!

Michelle Brown, now Koop, married Jeff Koop. She has her Masters in Education from Western University and her and her husband are currently teaching. They have 2 children (twins- a boy and a girl).
Chesworth, Jason
Jason performed for five seasons at the Shaw
Festival in Niagara. He was the lead in our high school play-Fiddler on the Roof. He got married on the beach in Costa Rica to a college classmate. He has done TV, film and more theatre since then. He spent two years producing a film and an album. He recently moved to Nova Scotia with his wife and has been mostly recently involved in journalism. You can find him on facebook. His email is:

Claus, Allan
After high school, Allan coached professionally for about 8 years. He then met his wife and got married shortly thereafter. He has been a police officer for almost 6 years, serving in London from 2002 until 2004 and then in Barrie where he has been ever since. He and his wife Jenn have a wonderful 1 year old little boy. Cooper, Dionne
Dionne works as a manager at Home Depot in Woodstock.She received her Music Degree from Carleton University. She was recently married. She can be found on facebook.

Krista graduated from Graphic Design & Advertising at Conestoga College in 1996. After working in the area for 8 years, in 2004, she started her own business called Creative Juice Graphic Design. She was married in 2004, making her the proud step-mom of his 3 kids! She currently lives in Woodstock. She can be found on facebook.

I met Wade at the reunion. He is a contractor and lives in
the Toronto region.
Drysdale (Peters), Theresa
Theresa married Shawn Peters in 1993 and graduated with a BA in 1997. They live in Thompson, Manitoba, which is in the northern region (where Shawn grew up). They live 8 hours north of Winnipeg. They have a little boy named Luke (turned 3 May 8). Theresa is a stay at home mom and she loves it! She can be found on facebook. Gandhi, Tina.
I received a Masters degree in Social Work from Wilfrid
Laurier University in 1999. My husband is a mechanical engineer and we met at the University of Waterloo. We work and reside in the Toronto region. I am a social worker in children’s mental health in York Region for the Ministry of Children & Youth Services.
In March 2007, I had a beautiful baby girl Chandra Kate Gandhi Trueman.

April worked as a Research Analyst in Toronto. She succumbed to cancer in July 2006.

I saw Tanya briefly at the reunion. It was nice seeing her
again as we were good friends in high school. She is a teacher and is married

Kelly graduated from the University of Windsor with a B.A./B.Ed. She taught in Toronto for 1 year, then travelled and lived in South Africa. She moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands in 2002 and has lived there ever since. She married Jason Loveless in 2004 and she now has a baby girl named Lila. She can be found on facebook. Stacey graduated from Nipissing University ( North Bay ) with her BA in Sociology. After working for 6 years with the North Bay Association for Community Living, she moved back south. She now lives in Scotland , Ontario with her boyfriend Bill and has worked as an Employment Instructor with KW Habilitation Services for 10 years. Her email is [email protected]

Carrie went to Conestoga College for Law
and Security Administration. She graduated in 1995 and moved to Barrie to be
with her boyfriend. She is now working as a Communications Operator (police

Paul lives in Reading, PA working as an electrical engineer. He is married and has 2 kids. He asks that if anyone is in the area, they can look him up. He is on facebook as well.
Turkington (Versteeg), Krista
Krista is married with two children. She works as a pharmacy

She married Paul Versteeg (also class of 1993) who works at the CAMI automotive

Turnbull, Kimmie
Kimmie is one of my closest friends and a bridesmaid at my
wedding. She has a Masters degree in English from the University of Western
Ontario and has completed teacher’s college. She is on facebook.
Velocci, Louie
Louie and his wife Kari and boys Daniel (6) and Matthew (2) live in Halifax N.S. – He is currently the Vice President – Atlantic Canada with KPMG Forensic Inc. After completing his BBA – Majors at St.F.X., he attained his Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) designations. He previously led the Computer Security and Forensic practice for Ernst & Young Canada – and traveled and worked on clients globally. In his current role – he works with lawyers and clients on defended against class action lawsuits, performing computer forensic and special investigations for large corporate fraud and other related work. Additionally he works with large clients on incident response, computer crime investigation and provides expert testimony to courts, and other ministerial panels. Vleuten (Ross), Lisa
Lisa is married with a baby girl Sophia. We were good
friends in high school as well. She has a degree in civil engineering and
manages her father’s company (engineering). I saw her at the reunion as well.

Miss Anes/Herschegger (French/English) is now the District
and Teachers’ Bargaining Unit President of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation. Her

Mr. Harvey (History Head, UN Club advisor) retired in June 2006 after 20 years of teaching at HPSS (and 33 total years of teaching). His contact e-mail is :

Mr. Hudson (Math) has now retired and I was able to speak
with him at the reunion.
Mr. Masters (Music-Strings) works at Woodstock College
Institute. His wife is a social worker in Probation. Her email is [email protected]
Mr. Meadows (English) has now retired. I saw him at the reunion.
He does not likely have an email address but you may try contacting him through
regular mail.
Mr. Nicholls still teaches music at Huron Park. He told me
that students are taking less interest in the string instruments now and that
department is scarce now (fewer instruments around). His email is [email protected]
Miss O’ Grady (French) is now Mrs. O’Grady! She married a
well known lawyer (from Woodstock) Murray Coulter. She still teaches at Huron

Angie is one of my closest friends and was a bridesmaid at
my wedding. She currently works as a Research Lab Technician at the Hospital
for Sick Children and is taking courses through the University of Toronto. She
