| HOW TO USE MY ASSISTIVE DEVICE |
| 1.) To begin, the assistive device that I created goes on the right arm of the Contact. The bands go around the arm of the Contact to keep the device from shifting and to give the device something to stay on when the Contact is wearing the assistive device. 2.) The handle will go in the Contact's left hand. It is small enough for the Contact to grip it, but the handle grants enough leverage so he can pull back on it to grip the larger object. 3.) Pull on the handle attached to the cord. This will close the grips around the object that you wish to grasp. This helps the Contact pick objects up and move them from place to place with his underdeveloped fingers and hands. |
